The campaign started with a truck that we filled with the exact amount of blood bags Brazil could have if it weren’t for the law. We took the truck to the streets carrying an important message: “Brazil wastes more than a truck full of blood every day due to prejudice”. On our website, people could join an online donors queue - a digital way to demonstrate how many people would actually become donors if the law didn’t. due to this campaign, the process to change this law has already started with a court hearing to rediscuss the blood donation eligibility criteria.
